# Seals and spare parts for your enclosure.

> Seals, rollers and spare parts for glass curtains and frameless sliding systems. Send us a photo of the part and the system brand and we will get back to you.

## Which spare parts can you order?

Over the years, rubber seals harden in the sun and rollers wear down, so a glass curtain lets in draughts or slides stiffly. Replacing those parts usually restores the system without a new enclosure. To order a spare, send a photo of the part and the system brand through the form. Without the brand, close up photos are enough.

## Which parts of a glass curtain wear out first?

The hardest working parts are the ones in contact with the glass and the tracks. Aluminium and tempered glass last for many years, but rubbers, brushes and rollers are consumables that need replacing now and then.

Noise is a good clue: if a panel squeaks or sticks in the track, it is almost always a roller. If air or water gets in between panels, the seal has usually lost its elasticity.

- Rubber seals between panels and on the glass edges
- Brush seals in the tracks
- Panel rollers and bearings
- End caps and trim pieces on the frames
- Locks, handles and catches

## What parts are in the catalogue?

The full catalogue with part numbers will be published once LUNEKS confirms it.

## How do you order a spare part?

Orders go through the form at the bottom of this page.

1. **Photograph the part.** One close up of the worn part and one of the whole system, so we can see where it is fitted.
2. **Tell us the system brand.** It is often on a sticker on the frame or on the installation invoice. If you cannot find it, the photo is enough to start.
3. **Send the form.** Add your details and attach the photos in the form below.
4. **We get back to you.** We tell you whether we have the part and how it is delivered or fitted. Timing: (to be confirmed).

## Would a new system make more sense?

If the enclosure is many years old, replacing it can be better value than repairing it.

- [Glass curtains](https://luneks.es/en/glass-curtains/): Glass panels with no vertical frames that stack to one side.
- [Frameless sliding glass](https://luneks.es/en/frameless-sliding-glass/): Glass panels that slide behind one another, for wide openings.
- [Insulated glass curtains](https://luneks.es/en/insulated-glass-curtains/): Double glazing for using the terrace in winter too.

## Questions about seals and spare parts

### How often should glass curtain seals be replaced?

It depends on how much sun the terrace gets and how often the curtain is opened. Time to replace them is when the rubber is hard, cracked or lets air through between panels. (to be confirmed)

### Do you have parts for curtains you did not install?

(to be confirmed)

### I do not know my system brand, can I still order?

Yes. Send close up photos of the part and of the frame it sits in. Many parts can be identified by their shape and size.

### Do you fit the part or send it to me?

(to be confirmed)

### Can I buy online?

(to be confirmed)
