Climate and rules
What is special about enclosing a terrace in Dénia, Jávea and Moraira?
The Marina Alta is greener and a little rainier than the south of the province, and many homes are detached villas with large porches.
- Autumn rain is heavier than in the south: the roof has to be watertight and drain well.
- Villas with large porches: wide openings call for sliding glass or curtains with a solid track.
- On the seafront, salt and wind: durable fittings and a checked fixing.
- Dénia, Jávea and Teulada-Moraira town hall rules on enclosures
What to choose
Which combination does your terrace need?
We start from what you want to achieve, not from the product.

| Use the terrace in winter too | Insulated curtains | Fixed roof |
| Open up to the sky in summer | Curtains or sliding glass | Retractable roof or bioclimatic pergola |
| Quick shade without enclosing the sides | Open | Tensioned fabric pergola |
