They go by retractable roofs, sliding roofs, movable roofs or opening roofs. All of them mean the same thing: a roof of panels that move to open up the sky.
What is the best roof for a terrace?
It depends on how you use it. To open to the sky in good weather, a retractable roof. For permanent shelter, a fixed roof. To control shade, a bioclimatic pergola.
