A balcony is small, but it is part of the building facade. This is what to look at before the quote.

- The railing: the bottom track sits on it or on the floor, so it has to be solid.
- The balcony ceiling: the top track is anchored into the slab.

Does the owners’ community have to approve balcony glazing?

Can the outside of the glass be cleaned?
Yes. Glass curtains open and swing inwards, so the outer face can be cleaned from the balcony itself.
Will the glazing be visible from the street?
Glass curtains have no vertical frames, so from outside you mostly see glass and the facade changes very little.
Can a balcony be glazed without removing the railing?
In most cases, yes. If the railing is in good condition, the bottom track is fitted on top of it.
