What should you check before enclosing a venue terrace?
A hospitality enclosure has more conditions to meet than one at home.
- Whether the terrace is on private or public land: on public land the town hall terrace bylaw applies. What each municipality’s bylaw allows
- Access for guests and staff: doors and walkways must stay clear.
- Ventilation: an enclosed space full of guests needs fresh air.
- Installation timing: ideally the venue stays open during high season.
